Brent E. Steward, MD, FACS
As a small town Kansas farm boy, Dr. Steward’s fascination with things mechanical prepared him for the technical world of minimally invasive surgery. He attended Kansas State University and transferred to the University of Kansas School of Medicine, where he completed his medical degree and surgical residency. Dr. Steward participates in missionary work with other Tallgrass physicians and has preformed charitable surgeries in East Africa and Haiti. He specializes in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Steward is board certified in General Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
