Our Physicians
Kenneth E. Teter, MD
Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, Dr. Teter received
his medical degree from the University of Kansas School
of Medicine. He completed his residency at the
University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. He received
the "Best Resident Research" award from the New Mexico
Cerebral Palsy Foundation for best resident research
presentation.
Dr. Teter performed a fellowship in Hip & Knee
Arthroplasty from
Scripps Clinic and Research Foundation, LaJolla,
California. His research related activities have led to
eleven medical presentations and three medical journal
publications. Dr. Teter is Board Certified by the
American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and is certified as
a carticel surgeon. He passed his Board Recertification
Exam in 2005.
Dr. Teter specializes in all orthopedic operations
except spinal procedures. He has special interests in
hip and knee replacements, sports medicine, and shoulder
surgery. He performs the
ceramic on ceramic bearing total hip replacement.
Dr. Teter is utilizing
computer navigation to perform total knee
replacements. He is also using an exciting new mobile
bearing
Biomet Oxford partial knee replacement.
Dr. Teter offers an outreach clinic in Seneca, Kansas,
almost every Wednesday. Dr. Teter also enjoys
cycling and will be riding in the MS150 to help fight
