Craig L. Vosburgh, MD
Once a rugby player and athletic
scholarship recipient, Dr. Vosburgh received his medical
degree and residency training in Orthopedic Surgery at
the University of Oklahoma. He extended his surgical
qualifications through Joint Replacement Fellowship at
The Robert Jones Orthopedic Hospital in England. Dr.
Vosburgh then performed a Shoulder Surgery Fellowship in
Virginia prior to starting practice in Topeka.
He
specializes in total joint replacement, shoulder
arthroscopy, and knee reconstruction. His academic
papers have been published in five peer review journals.
Dr. Vosburgh has
one of the region's broadest experiences with computer
navigation knee replacement surgery. He and his partner,
Dr. Teter, are two of only five Kansas orthopedic
surgeons trained to use the OXFORD unicompartmental
system. The is minimally invasive partial knee
replacement with outstanding long term results.
Arthroscopic
rotator cuff surgery and shoulder reconstructions are
also part of Dr. Vosburgh's specialized practice. He
routinely performs less invasive hip replacement surgery
with ceramic and metal-on-metal hip implants when
indicated.
